It is not a surprise that Airiel "Molten Young Lovers" was voted in many polls as one of the best 2017 album in the Shoegaze / indie genres. Listen to this song, that was in our "favourite of 2017" and you will understand why. Superb combination of strong bassline & baggy sound rhythm completed by great melodic lines and harmonies.
The Violet Tulips (Лиловые Тюльпаны) are from Russia, communicate in Russian and sing in Russian. This song, "I am here again" is from their November 2017 EP, Двадцать (Twenty).
From Wales, after a break of a few years, The Voices comes back with a very nice album, Dark Waters, from which this song is from.
From the UK, The raft have released some nice dangle / dream pop songs since 2003. This song is from their last EP, Orion, released in November 2017.
After releasing their first EP in 2017, the frenchies of Blue Bombay did this superb song. Can not wait to see what's in store for the coming year.
