Premiere: Xeresa's "Reality" music video, featuring and directed by Dani Mari

Xeresa's "Reality" was included in our August 2017 Famous 5 playlist, and I love this song. A lot! Imagine the pure delight when Nicolas Pierre Wardell, the artist behind Xeresa (and Beatastic) offered this premiere! It was such a beautiful surprise. Thank you, Nico!

And the video is also a delight. It complements the songs beautifully. It is a world of pixels and digital mayhem in which you identify faces here and there: Dani Mari's and Nicolas'. They are indistinct, always moving, out of focus, which adds to the digital chaos, and the artistic structure.

It is like if the images try to piece themselves together, to exist, to give a more conventional view of themselves, but without ever succeeding. It is its own reality, without really reaching ours. Mesmerising!

Judge by yourself:

From the debut album out now on https://vesperrecords.bandcamp.com/ and https://xeresa.bandcamp.com Directed by Dani Mari

The lyrics of this gem of a song are:

Reality sets in close
Endings turn into beginnings
Head of the class
Struggle to find
Your place time
All I need
Is a little bit of conversation
Tear me out of reality
Reality sets in close
