【plant cell】インタビュ Landscape CD

When I first discovered plant cell, the patchwork of superb songs they had, the many different atmospheres they could render with disported reverberating guitars was fascinating. It still is.

You can discover or revisit the band and their beautiful music in these previous posts:

Here are a couple of other songs for to make you ears happy:

It is difficult to find a better name for this CD. Plant cell has been working into giving a sonic life to landscapes from many places around the world. Their inspiration has come from windy Ireland (the wind of Kilmalkedar), Frozen Pine forests (Conifer), Space (Nebula), Big flower fields (Marguerite) to quote but a few.

I am also delighted to have Conifer, one of my favorite song of the band, on the CD. You will need to buy the CD to get it :-)

I brought the CD all the way to Spain, in one of my favorite place in the world, in Spain near Barcelona, to take the photo for this article (feel free to criticize the picture, I never thought to be a good photographer, but sometimes it is the thought that counts).

So this CD has come from Japan, been in Ireland, UK, over France and in Spain. Only fitting as it now has sonic landscapes an now real one.

You can get it on Bandcamp or in Japan.

If you are a plant cell fan and are partial to physical products, this is a must. Along with Nebula EP, you have the vast majority of their work on these CD.

Revisit all these sonic landscapes. Amazingly beautiful.
